The children at Woolston have really enjoyed and been keen on sharing their interests of Super Heros and forming this as a base for their play. Following the children’s interests the practitioners created a Super Hero obstical course; we all dressed in our favourite Super Hero costumes including the adults. This activity was set up to encourage and enhance the childrens imagination and experiment using their physcial skills. We moved in various directions and using various actions, hopping, climbing, balancing and crawling. The children really enjoyed this activity and the language used during the imaginative play was expressive and showed their excitement and ideas of what could happen next. This also enhanced the activities during the rest of the week including our Super Hero theme.
