Today our Pre school children had a visit from Rose and her guide dog Quip. Our children have been learning about people who help us linked to the People and communities area in the EYFS and we have been learning how some things can make us unique and the similarities and differences between themselves and others. Our glasses story sack is one of the children’s favourites and they have taken a special interest in Guide dogs and how blind people can do day to day things. Rose brought in her talking watch ,clock and her reading aids than can magnify the words in story books and spoke with the children answering all their questions …and of course the very clever Quip who all the children were excited to see.
