At Longbarn our children went out into our nature garden to help fill up all our bird feeders and put out fresh water for the birds. The children showed a keen interest in the birds and were happy to help feed them, they showed they could listen and follow instructions and also developed their knowledge of the world around them by looking after their own environment. We then all took to the garden to help clean up all the leaves that had blown off the trees, using their own brushes and shovels they set to work and had the job done in no time. The children showed their skills in listening and understanding to get the job done and in using different tools and equipment. Well done everyone and thank you for your help our outdoor area looks lovely!
