Our SENCO’s role is to:
- Listen to parents if they have concerns about their child’s development and help them decide what happens next
- Provide support and information to all practitioners in the setting if they have concerns about a child’s development
- Help practitioners and parents to make referrals and speak to other professionals.
- Help practitioners to complete the relevant documentation that will be useful if a child needs extra support when they start school
