For the past 18 months Zoe and Liza have been attending work shops at Everton Children’s Centre. These workshops have strengthened their knowledge and skills in supporting children’s language development.
The URLEY project was funded by the Department for Education and is researched based.
Zoe and Liza had to use specific auditing tools to observe, assess and plan meaningful changes to the environment and activities and experiences that the children access.
One of the changes we made was to the environment and this was captured in the poster we submitted to the researchers.
The URLEY project is ongoing and we will continue to use the skills and tools we developed during this time.
