This month we went out in the local area of Woolston, we wrapped up warm and used our road knowledge to walk sensibly to the park crossing the roads safely with the practitioners and our friends. The children knew which direction to walk in and the route we take to get to the park, once at the park we walked to the pond to feed the ducks. This helped to extend our knowledge on the world around us, our local environment and the people and animals around us. We also used our thinking skills and problem solving to know which direction and route to take and could remember from our memory which way to go. We had lots of fun!
